(1898-1974).<br />
Papanui Tothill was a pupil, and later,<br />
a teacher at Christ’s College<br />
1923-1960. He was acting<br />
headmaster in 1958.<br />
One of the <strong>street</strong>s in the<br />
Papanui area formed on land<br />
belonging to Christ’s<br />
College. It was planned that<br />
500 houses would be built on<br />
an 80 acre block belonging<br />
to the school.<br />
