be Tara Crooks, cofounder
of the Army Wife Network.
Come and enjoy a great time
for networking, discovering
common bonds, learning coping
strategies and finding numerous
resources for deployment,
separation, reintegration and
reunion survival tips. Lunch will
be served at noon, there will be
door prizes and giveaways, and
all participants will receive a gift
bag with the book "I'm Already
Home," a journal, and additional
deployment survival tools and
relaxation items. Child care will
be provided by the Eglin CDC
based on space availability.

Airman's Attic
Needs Volunteers
The Airman's Attic is an on-base
donation center designed to
help defray the cost of setting up
a home. This unique program
targets junior ranking members
(E6 & below) of all military
branches. The Airman's Attic
is located on Inverness Road
in Bldg. 594, and is managed
by retired CMSgt Bob White.
Last month alone, Airman's
Attic volunteers served 589
customers—that's 53 customers
per day! During this high
PCS season, there is a greater
demand for volunteer support.
The Airman’s Attic needs you!
Typically, volunteers welcome,
register and assist customers. In
addition, they may help unload,
sort, and stock donated items.
The Airman’s Attic is open
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. If you are
interested in volunteering, please

Member Program
The Airman & Family Readiness
Center's Exceptional Family
Member Program-Family
Support (EFMP-FS) is designed
to provide support to military
family members with special
needs. Services include a variety
of personnel, medical, and family
support functions including
on-and-off-base information and
referral, parent training, support
groups, relocation assistance,
financial management, and
school information. Monthly
working groups at the A&FRC
provide a forum to identify
and champion issues facing
special needs families, in hopes
of fostering ideas, promoting
creativity, integrating work, and
solving problems. For more

Kindermusik Plays
at Eglin

This is Kindermusik, the most

program for infants, toddlers,
preschoolers, and young
children. Kindermusik is about

classes for ages newborn through
7 years being held on Thursdays,
Sep. 1–Nov. 3, with a choice
of 10 a.m. or 5 p.m. class time.
