Parents' Night Out
Eglin's Child Development
Center and School Age Program
will offer a Parents Night Out
on Friday, Sep. 30 from 6-10
p.m. This popular child care
program offers a night out
for parents while children are
safely supervised in a fun and
exciting environment. Families
with children ages 6 weeks to 12
years may sign up on a spaceavailable
basis for $20 per child,
or possibly FREE with use of a
PLAYpass card! Activities for
children will include games,
movies and craft projects.
Payment is non-refundable and
due at pre-registration, along
with completed paperwork and
a current shot record. Please

"Drop In" Child Care
by the Hour
Eglin's Child Development
Center offers hourly slots for
child care, available 8 a.m.-5
p.m. for children 6 weeks to 5
years on a space available, first
come, first serve basis. This is
a convenient child care option
for parents who just need a few
hours to make an appointment
or tend to other tasks. Cost is
$4 per hour, meals and snacks

Education Assistance
for Army Soldiers
For our local soldiers of the
U.S. Army, the Eglin Education
Office has great news! Ms. Judy
Prater has joined the team at
the Education Center and is
now available to assist with
GoArmyEd, as well as with
local area college and university
opportunities, credit transfer
requests, and other counseling
opportunities. Her office hours
are Tue-Wed, 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m. in
Bldg. 251, Room 107—directly
across the hall from the AF

Family Child Care
New Provider
Orientation Classes
Become a Family Child Care
(FCC) provider and possibly
earn up to $4,500 a month. Eglin
FCC's next orientation class
will be held the week of Sep. 12.
Providers are needed to provide
care for hourly, part/full time,
volunteer, PCS, extended duty,
evenings, weekends, special
needs and overnight care.

the Eglin FCC office (Bldg. 2808
on Boatner Road) or online at

PLEASE NOTE: Any on-base
individual caring for another
families' children for more than
10 hours a week on a regular
basis must be currently licensed
by the MSG Commander through
the Eglin FCC office or may risk
having their housing privileges
revoked.
