SOFTBALL - GIRLS FAST PITCH<br />
Practice: Regular season practice is held daily from 4:30pm <strong>to</strong> 6:30pm and 6:30pm <strong>to</strong> 8:30pm.<br />
Off-season practice is during 4th and 8th block <strong>at</strong>hletics.<br />
Selection Process: Tryouts are held during off season <strong>at</strong>hletics and <strong>at</strong> the beginning of the<br />
season in January.<br />
Number of Players: 25 - 30 (JV and Varsity teams)<br />
Player Expenses: Players provide their own cle<strong>at</strong>s and gloves. The school provides practice<br />
gear and game gear.<br />
Additional Inform<strong>at</strong>ion: Softball is now an interscholastic sport. We are governed by U.I.L.<br />
rules. <strong>Westwood</strong> games are played on our own field on campus.<br />
