Using Standard and Advanced Searches Together<br />

You can use a mix of the standard search and advanced search to<br />

force people to search by certain properties while giving them a<br />

choice on others. For example, you want users to always search<br />

Content, but you want to give them the additional option to search<br />

forms, files, images. For examples of setting up a a mixed search,<br />

see ”Advanced Properties Search Examples” on page 109<br />

Advanced Properties Search Examples<br />

The following are some examples of different ways to configure the<br />

Search Server Control using the advanced properties. If a property<br />

is not mentioned in the examples below, use its default setting.<br />
