<strong>Ektron</strong> <strong>CMS400.NET</strong> Server Controls are an integral part of using <strong>Ektron</strong><br />

<strong>CMS400.NET</strong> and Microsoft Visual Studio .NET together. After completing this<br />

section read, ”Introduction to <strong>Ektron</strong> <strong>CMS400.NET</strong> Server Controls” on page 24.<br />

The Web server on which your project exists can be on either a<br />

local or remote computer.<br />

1. Click File > New > Project to display the New Project dialog<br />

box.<br />

2. In the Project Types pane, select either Visual Basic or Visual<br />

C#.<br />

3. In the Templates pane, select ASP.NET Web Application.<br />

4. In the Location text box, specify the URL where you want to<br />

place the Web project, including the name you want to give it.<br />

For example, to create a project titled MyFirstWebApp at the<br />

default localhost location, Insert the following URL string in the<br />

Location text box:<br />

http://localhost/MyFirstWebApp<br />
