WiSpan Ethernet-to-
Wireless Bridge
The SIM300x/340x & SIM305/345 are either Dual-band /
Tri-Band or Quad-Band GSM/GPRS modules. With their
tiny configuration they can fit almost all the space requirements
in industrial applications. The leading features of
each of these modules make them ideal for virtually
unlimited applications.
The SIM508/548 modules are Tri-Band/Quad-Band
GSM/GPRS-enabled modules that are equipped with
AGPS technology. The compact design of the SIM508/
548 makes it easy to integrate GSM/GPRS & GPS as an all-in-one solution.
SIM5210 & SIM5212 are a HSDPA/WCDMA/GSM/GPRS/EDGE module solution that support
upto 7.2M downlink speed and 384K uplink speed data service.
The range of Evaluation boards (EVBs) are used to support a selection of the above wireless
modules.
The WiSpan wireless bridge gives
virtually any piece of electronic
equipment with an Ethernet port in-
dustry-standard wireless 802.11
b/g connectivity quickly and easily. Its built-in IEEE
802.11i-compliant security ensures data privacy and
integrity, and it features a rugged design and wide
temperature range to easily handle harsh environments.
Features:
• Equips Ethernet-ready electronic equipment with
802.11 b/g wireless connectivity
• Enables remote monitoring and control of devices around the world
• Provides bulletproof wireless security with IEEE 802.11i-PSK, WPA-PSK, TKIP
• Ruggedized design and wide operating temperature range to withstand harsh environments
• FCC Class B, UL and EN EMC and safety-compliant
STM32 (ARM Cortex M3) 32bit
Microcontroller Starter
Kits
All of these kits contain everything required to enable
users to quickly and easily evaluate the MCU’s features,
and to start development at very low cost. They
include many ready-to-run code examples to demonstrate
the device peripherals, with source files that
can be adapted for users applications. ST was the
first leading MCU supplier to introduce a family based
on the Cortex-M3, and this starter kit portfolio offers
the widest choice of tools, at the lowest cost, for
users intending to develop applications for this core.
The Keil STM3210B-SK/KEIL starter kit features the Keil RealView Microcontroller Development
Kit software, including the μVision3 integrated development environment for application
programming and debugging, and the ARM RealView C/C++ Compilation Tools for up to
16 Kbytes of code, plus a full-featured STM32F103B-based evaluation board, with the ULINK
in-circuit (USB/JTAG) debugger/programmer.
The Hitex STM3210B-SK/HIT starter kit is based on the HiTOP5 integrated development
environment, offering a full range of project management, source-code editing and debugging
features through an intuitive graphical interface. The included Tasking VX C/C++ compiler
has no code-size limitation when used with the kit hardware. The kit includes a USB stick with
STM32F103B and integrated debugging/programming capability, an extension I/O board with
peripheral evaluation features, and the DashBoard GUI for MCU performance monitoring.
The IAR STM3210B-SK/IAR KickStart kit is based on the IAR Embedded Workbench for ARM
(EWARM) development environment, running on an STM32F103B KickStart development
board. It includes the IAR C/C++ compiler for up to 32 Kbytes of code, the J-Link in-circuit
debugger/programmer (USB/JTAG), a built-in Flash loader, and sample projects for all of the
STM32 device peripherals.
The Raisonance REva STM3210B-SK/RAIS starter kit, based on the RIDE development
environment for code up to 32 Kbytes, offers application debugging and seamless control of
the included GNU C/C++ compiler through an intuitive graphical interface. The kit hardware
has a modular design based on the USB-powered REva universal evaluation motherboard with
embedded RLink in-circuit debugger/programmer (USB/JTAG), and comes with an
STM32F103B daughterboard with device-specific evaluation features.
LM400 Bluetooth UART
Module
The 12 Pin UART connection on this device allows it to be used as a plug and play module. This
configuration will also allow users to upgrade equipment to Bluetooth SPP RS232 configuration
far easier than re-designing a PCB.
By using the module in this way it means that one board can be designed and the Bluetooth
module can be retro-fit, which makes upgrading and easy option.
commands. Using a EDR V2.0 Class 1 Bluetooth
chipset as standard these units have a range of up to
100m with a transfer rate of up to 3Mbps.
It has three LED status lights that indicate: Power on,
Data transfer status and Bluetooth connection status.
The mini USB port can be used to power the unit from
either USB to USB or Mains to mini USB.
The strong housing is able to with stand knocks and has been drop tested from over 10 metres.
This unit also has FCC, CE and RTTE approval.
The ZigBee/802.15.4 Application
Kit combines MaxStream’s XBee
RF modem with RCM3720 Rab-
bitCore module along with an
easy-to-use interface to help the user build a practical
ZigBee wireless control network. The kit contains three
Digi ZigBee modules for full application reference. One
ZigBee module is connected to an Ethernet enabled
RCM3720 RabbitCore Module. The RCM3720 runs at
22.1 MHz, and provides 10Base-T Ethernet, 512K Flash, 256K SRAM, 1MB Serial Flash as
on-board memory, and 33 GPIO lines. The other two ZigBee modules are standalone node
devices.
