Setting Up the LINC Tidy Up Script
The LINC Tidy Up script removes files from the $LINCIIDIR/trace directory that have not
been accessed for three days . These files are used for diagnostic purposes, and need not
normally be retained.
Add the following line to the file root in the /usr/spool/cron/crontabs directory:
This line sets linc16tdy to run each day at 3:00 a.m. You can change this time as required. In
this line, $LINCIIDIR should be replaced with the actual directory in which the LINC
Software was installed.
For example, if the /usr/linc163 directory was used, the following entry would be made:
