3.9 Digital inputs and outputs<br />

Digital outputs<br />

<strong>SENTRON</strong> <strong>PAC4200</strong> has:<br />

● Two multifunctional digital inputs,<br />

● Two multifunctional digital outputs.<br />

The following functions can be assigned to the digital outputs:<br />

● Energy pulse output, programmable for active or reactive energy<br />

● Signaling the direction of rotation<br />

● Displaying the operating status of <strong>SENTRON</strong> <strong>PAC4200</strong><br />

● Signaling limit violations<br />

● Switching output, remote controlled via the communication interfaces<br />

● Output of the end of a subperiod for synchronizing other devices<br />

Signal output<br />

The digital output supplies a number of pulses or edges proportional to the energy<br />

measured.<br />
