Veteran: Kevin Aylett. well known in trap shootlng cncles, was<br />
delighted w~th his veterans vlctory over the three Nat~onal titles.<br />
His score of 250/275 showed that there is still plenty of good performances<br />
yet to come and as a Tasmanian what better result than<br />
a high gun wln in your own State. Kevin received the Rutherglen<br />
Village Trophy klndly made available by Manager, David Owen<br />
who we thank on behalf of all v~ho parlicipated in the Veterans<br />
H~gh Gun.<br />
OLDEST COMPETITOR<br />
The oldest competitor to attend the Tassle Trap was<br />
George Richardson from Hobart Gun Club who had turned 82<br />
years of age in Isgo, done George,<br />
PRESIDENTIAL MEDAL<br />
Veterans Aggregate: A trophy for the best score over the<br />
National Titles was also won by Kevin Aylett who received the Val<br />
& Fred Horton Perpetual Trophy as a record of hls achievement.<br />
The ACTA's most prestigious award, the Presidential Medal.<br />
was presented to Rex Varley irom Guyra. New South Wales in<br />
recosnition for his contribution to the develoument of the sport.<br />
