MCCs <strong>and</strong> panel enclosures are built by the firm’s panel<br />

build team in-house. The company designs, procures,<br />

assembles <strong>and</strong> factory-tests these panels at its facilities<br />

in Malta. This location af<strong>for</strong>ds the company excellent<br />

logistics by allowing the company to connect more<br />

efficiently with both clients <strong>and</strong> suppliers in Europe <strong>and</strong><br />

North Africa.<br />

All equipment is manufactured to customer’s specification in<br />

accordance with stringent quality procedures that ensure reliable,<br />

cost-effective, solutions. That said, <strong>ESI</strong>’s expertise in switchgear<br />

<strong>and</strong> control systems lie at the very edge of technology. What’s more,<br />

be<strong>for</strong>e leaving the workshops, all control panels must be thoroughly<br />

checked <strong>and</strong> tested to ensure that they comply not only with BS EN<br />

60439-1 st<strong>and</strong>ards but CE requirements <strong>and</strong> machinery directives as<br />

well. In fact, accreditation to ISO 9001:2000 dem<strong>and</strong>s strict control<br />

<strong>and</strong> audit of the procedures used throughout every aspect of <strong>ESI</strong>’s<br />

operations. The control panels are then transported to site.
