1. Principal Investigator of the project “Education as a Lifelong Process – Comparing<br />
Educational Trajectories in Modern Societies" (eduLIFE) funded by the <strong>European</strong><br />
Research Council (ERC). The eduLIFE project is worth 2.5 Mio. Euro and will start in<br />
June 2011 (with a duration 5 years), <strong>European</strong> <strong>University</strong> <strong>Institute</strong>, Florence.<br />
2. Coordinator of the DFG Priority Programme 1646 “Education as a Lifelong Process.”<br />
There are two funding periods: The first one is from January 2012 until the end of<br />
2014 and the second one is from January 2015 until the end of 2017. The budget of for<br />
this programme is 5.5 Million Euro.<br />
