more than three decades, this has been the philosophy of the<br />

family-run company Iris von Arnim. But modernity means<br />

change. Constantly on the lookout for ways to perfect what is<br />

already perfect. Iris von Arnim set the trend in the 1970s with<br />

a rainbow pullover made of finest angora. She realized that<br />

quality and rebellion are not mutually exclusive.<br />

Today the next generation is taking on the responsibility for<br />

the label. Together with his mother, Valentin von Arnim now<br />

takes the company into the future. A creation can only be<br />

lasting when it is designed with emotionality – a passion for<br />

a certain kind of material that stands for unobtrusive luxury:<br />

cashmere. Or to put it in Iris von Arnim’s words: ‘You don’t<br />
