Philosophy
Launched in AW09, Twenty8Twelve is the fashion brand collaboration between
actress Sienna Miller and her designer sister Savannah Miller.
Sienna Miller’s distinct eye for styling and attention to detail coupled with
Savannah’s extensive design experience with brands such as Alexander
McQueen, Matthew Williamson and Betty Jackson creates the perfect opportunity
for the sisters to design collections they love and want to wear but can rarely find.
Comprising beautifully finished denim, luxurious knitwear, perfectly cut dresses,
casual pieces and coats, the emphasis will rely heavily on quality, cut and finishing.
Their vision and essence for the label lies in time old tailoring techniques –
sophisticated garments with a vintage feel but contemporary vibe and strong
directional design.
Twenty8Twelve brings more than just a garment to its customer. Inspiration
taken from and promoting various forms of artistic expression play an important
role in the brand and each season sees a collaboration with an illustrator, poet
or artist that creatively portrays the inspiration and mood for that season.
Poems or notes will be concealed inside some of the pieces, not only making
them covetable and collectable, but also bringing something personal from the
designers to the brand and those who buy it.
Their guest artist every season sees their interpretation of the collection illustrated
within the swing tag on each piece.
