As a long established family owned business it is imperative that we continue
to offer an efficient and helpful service to all our valued retail stockists.
The owners ensure that we only knit using the very best yarns available from
the most reputable spinners.
Scotland is famous for its whisky, tartans and cashmere sweaters. Every
garment we produce is knitted in our own mill in the heart of Scottish Borders.
Our town – Hawick – is the cashmere knitwear centre of the world. Almost all
the top quality brand names producing the most luxurious sweaters are based
here.
Our 120 strong work force take great pride in their workmanship to guarantee
the finished product is perfect in every detail.
We work with some of the top designers in the world and explore possibilities
of knitting with the latest machinery. Our fully-fashioned garments are worn by
many famous celebrities who regularly insist on William Lockie knitwear by
name.
Our aim is offer excellent value for money and that new customers will have
many years of pleasure wearing our garments.
