The reporting party does not think an ambulance is needed. The driver, Claude Delmer Cole, age 18, was issued a citation due to his windshield being blocked by ice. 01:43 Citation – Nancy Y. Guzman- Salazar, age 21, was issued a citation at 900 Overland Avenue for operating a vehicle without a driver’s license and no proof of insurance. 02:00 Damaged Property – A resident on the 100 block of West 20th Street reported that his brick wall behind his residence has been knocked down. No one is around the vehicle. 08:04 Car Accident – A rollover was reported on Interstate 84 near milepost 260 heading eastbound. The reporting party advised that there was one male in the vehicle who is out walking around and states that he is fi ne and does not need an ambulance. 09:05 Stray Dog – Cassia Regional Medical Center reported that there is a white dog with black markings and a red collar with no tags on it that is running around by the emergency room doors. The dog is not mean but he can not reach animal control due to the holiday. 01-03-12 09:10 Stolen Wallet – A female requested to fi le a report that her husband’s wallet came up missing from the kitchen table at their home. 10:17 Car Accident – Headstart advised that one of their buses has clipped another vehicle in the parking lot on West 5th Street. They would like an offi cer to respond. There are no injuries. 10:43 Dog Hit – A female reported that a small white dog has been hit at Hiland Avenue and the railroad. The reporting party is now out with it. Animal control was contacted. 10:49 Stray Dog – A deputy advised that he is out with a female chasing a dog at 1200 Hiland Avenue. 11:21 Juvenile Felony Arrest – Juvenile Probation requested an offi cer come to a residence where they were doing a search. The probation offi cer reported that he found Pep Spice and some knives at the home. The probation offi cer was there to question the juvenile about his alleged involvement in a home burglary. According to the arrest report, the juvenile did admit to stealing $930.00 from his grandparent’s home. The report also indicates that the youth admitted to stealing $35.00 from a victim’s purse in a separate incident. The deputy arrested the 16 year old male on charges of Possession of Inhalant by Minor, Felony Burglary, and Petit Theft. The juvenile was also cited for Possession of Tobacco. The green leafy substance suspected to be Spice was sent to the lab for further testing. 11:31 Attempted Plane Theft – A male asked to talk to an offi cer about an attempted theft of an airplane. 14:06 Theft – A person reported that his slot machine was stolen from a house in Burley. 16:22 Suspicious Incident – A person called 911 and reported that there is a female walking on Normal Avenue and she is being followed by someone in a white car. The reporting party is concerned for her safety. 16:43 Arrest – Calvin Ray Teupel, age 47, of Malta, turned himself in to the Sheriff’s Offi ce on an outstanding her purse was stolen from her boyfriend’s house last night. Turner, age 19, was arrested at the Misdemeanor Probation offi ce for failing to sign up for probation as he was ordered. 16:02 Arrest – Freddy Molina, age 37, was arrested on two warrants at the Cassia Sheriff’s offi ce. 16:05 Felony Arrest – According to the arrest report, Dale Burling, age 45, was pulled over near 16th and Normal Avenue for having a tail light out. Burling was arrested for Driving Without Privileges and cited for No Insurance. While waiting for the tow service, the deputy did an inventory of the vehicle and found what appeared to be a baggy containing methamphetamine and a drug pipe. Additional charges were added for Felony Possession of Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bond has been set at $50,000.00. 17:03 Accident – Snake River Towing reported that they received a call from a private party stating that she ran over a sign and now has her vehicle stuck on the sign in the area of JC Penney’s. 18:57 Citation – Maria E. Leon-Guzman, age 32, was cited for not having a driver’s license and no proof of insurance. 19:25 Vehicle Burglary – A female advised that someone has stolen some property out of their vehicle. A Declo resident reportedly advised that a vehicle pulled into her driveway and may have hit her fence. The arresting deputy caught up to a vehicle that matched the description of the vehicle involved in the hit and run and pulled Robinson over. It was determined that Robinson’s license was suspended. He was placed in custody and charged with Driving Without Privileges. His car was released to his passenger. Fines Feliz A. Minidoka 12-30-11 13:36 Fire – A person reported that there is a small fi re in the grass fi eld near Interstate 84 near milepost 213. 13:54 Car Accident – A minor two vehicle accident was reported in Heyburn at Z and 21st Street. No one is injured. 21:14 Information – A person reported that 300 East, just off Baseline, in Minidoka County is totally blocked by wheel lines. 21:24 Accident – A driver reported that while he was heading south on 600 West he struck a wheel line that was on the road. His 2008 Ford F350 SD was damaged. The hood and grill area were dented, the right front fender fl are was broken off, and the front right side headlight now doesn’t work. The driver was not injured. 12-31-11 05:00 Accident – A driver reported that he was traveling southbound on 300 East about ten miles north of Rupert when a wheel line blew into the road and hit his vehicle. The accident report indicates that there were severe cross winds at the time of the accident. The 1998 Chevrolet Ventura experienced moderate damage but did not have to be towed. The 19 year old driver, a Rupert resident, was not injured. 09:48 Ambulance Request – A Heyburn resident requested an ambulance for a female who is having diffi culty breathing on the 300 block of South Highway 24. 11:35 Ambulance Request – An ambulance was requested to a residence on the 300 block of Highway 24. 13:54 911 Hang Up Call – A hang up call from a 911 only phone was received that plotted to the area of the 300 block of 18th Street in Heyburn. 01-01-12 22:36 Information – An anonymous source advised that there are two subjects that are driving around in the Paul or Rupert area that have been drinking and doing drugs. 01-03-12 16:01 Burglary – A resident on West 100 North reported that their home was burglarized and a long list of items were stolen. Some of the stolen items included a tool chest, tools, battery charger, air compressor, two television sets, a Wii gaming system and games, a pistol, and two rifl es. 17:46 Grand Theft – It was reported that a 2002 Peterbuilt semi and 2004 trailer were stolen. According to the incident report, the semi truck belongs to Willtran Inc. The truck is valued at $50,000. 01-04-12 16:13 Car Accident – It was reported that a vehicle went into the median on Interstate 84 near milepost 207. The reporting party stated a female jumped out of the vehicle. 01-05-12 12:45 Accident – A two vehicle accident was reported near the intersection of Highway 30 and the Interstate 84 milepost 211 eastbound off ramp. According to the accident report, vehicle one, driven by James Lynch, was exiting the Interstate and attempting to enter Highway 30. Vehicle two was traveling north on Highway 30 near the intersection. Vehicle one entered the lane of travel and into the path of the oncoming vehicle. Vehicle two attempted to swerve but was not able to do so. Vehicle two struck the left rear tail light of vehicle one with the front of his truck. James Lynch, age 88, of Burley, was issued a citation for Driving-Unsafe Pull Out from the Interstate. Neither driver suffered injuries. Unsealed – A 15 year old female juvenile from Burley was charged with Controlled Substance-Use or Under the Infl uence in a Public Place. Court records indicate the alleged offense occurred on December 23, 2011. The juvenile has denied the charges and has been appointed a public defender. An adjudicatory hearing has been scheduled regarding the matter. 01-09-12 12:39 Arrest – Dustin Brent Younger, age 32, of Paul, was arrested at a residence on the 700 block of South 5th Street on an outstanding Misdemeanor warrant. 14:00 Grand Theft – A male reported that approximately $5,000 worth of scrap metal was stolen from West 800 North and 950 North. The theft occurred sometime between November 1, 2011 and January 1, 2012. Suspect is unknown. Theft occurred on the 1000 block of 11th Street. 13:05 Arrest – Joel Alejandro Medina, age 19, was reportedly arrested near South 5th Street and South H Street on four warrants. 14:51 Rape – A female reported that she was raped at a party in Rupert. The case is pending. 14:53 Burglary – A resident on the 800 block of H Street reported that their back door was broken into and things were taken from the home. 18:32 Lewd and Lascivious – A father would like to report some things on his daughter’s facebook page concerning an adult male. 23:38 Noise Complaint – A resident on the 200 block of A Street complained that the neighbors are being noisy. The reporting party will sign a citation. 01-07-12 03:29 Minor Consumption – Serafi n Salinas, age 19, was charged with Minor Consumption at or near the 700 block of South H Street. 03:43 Resisting – Rudy Zamora Jr., age 31, of Caldwell, was charged with Resisting or Obstructing Offi cers after it was reported that he was being drunk and beligerent. Arrest occurred at a home on the 700 block of South C Street. 07:20 Drug Related – Erik Edward Wilson, age 27, was arrested on the 400 block of A Street. He was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. 01-08-12 10:43 Damage – It was reported that there is a green Honda with the front window smashed out at the apartments on the 200 block of South A Street. 12:37 Arrest – Brandon Charles Cooper, age 29, was charged with Driving Without Privileges. 14:06 Information – A person reported that there is a marijuana smell emanating from an apartment on the 300 block of Pasherma Kay Court. 19:49 Hit and Run – A female reported that someone has hit the driver’s side rear door of her car. No one is around. The accident occurred at Smokin’ Hot Deals on Oneida Street. 22:48 Citation – Jesus Nohe Guzman- Bernal, age 24, was charged with not driving without a valid drivers license.
