Although our school is well known
in the community ;IS a Christian
school. many people who make no
pretense ol being religious seck us out
because thcy feel that their children
will hc in good hands and will receive
special care and teaching.
We have an unusu;illy fine outdoor
playground, completely lenccd in Lor
thc salety of the children. An indoor
multipurposcaree is rcallya "must" for
a nurser? school. Ours doubles lor a
gym. We operate so that each of the
five groups has a period in the gym
every morning.
know of no other ministry in
which a church can become su closely
involved in so many lives on a daily
basis. lrue. there is a great deal of wear
and tear on the church facilities, but
where do we place our priorities? In the
three or four ycars that many of the
children spend with us we have a great
opportunity to influence both child
and family toward God and the
church.
And directing a Christian nursery
school is neithcr dull nor boring! It isa
real challenge every day and a real
ministry for the Lord.
A wise man oncc wrote. "Train up a
child in the way he should go: and
when he is old. he will not depart from
it" (Proverbs 22:6).
I'he greatest Man of all said, "Suffer
little children, and forbid them not, to
come unto me: for of such is the
kingdom of heaven'' (Matthew 19: 14).
So be it!

found its public use objectionable or

misunderstood. let me repeat what 1
said before: I am quite in favor ola text
to replace that of I hl 1. Thequestion is.
what tcxt will it he and where will it he
found? Unless such a text is lorthcom-
ing, given under the direction of the
God whose Word it is. wearcnot about
to find a version niorc popular than
that of 161 1 .
