Campers will enjoy the opportunity to participate in traditional day camp activities. A field trip is scheduled during each week of Camp APRD; all field trip costs have been built into the cost of the program. The costs that are included feature weekly trips to Mead Pool, archery, canoeing and an afternoon snack. Participants should bring a bag lunch each day. Parents/Guardians are responsible for transporting their child to and from camp each day. Each participant may register for no more than three weeks of Camp APRD. The schedule for the week will be mailed to you one week prior to the start of your camp session. Junior Robotics – How would you like to turn your next LEGO® creation into a robot, programmed to do exactly what you tell it to do? The Bricks 4 Kidz® Junior Robotics camp offers all the fun of building with LEGO® bricks PLUS the challenge of computer programming! Super Hero & Ninjago – Join Bricks 4 Kidz® for a week of Super Hero and Ninjago building with LEGO® bricks. Explore all the caped crusaders and discover their super powers. Create a fantasy world and protect it against all the evil arch enemies with custom contraptions made with LEGO® bricks. Build and create Ninjago-themed models, such as ninja-spinners and dragon rides! *This camp is not affiliated with Marvel Comics. Movie Making 101 – Lights, camera, action! In this unique and creative camp, students will plan, script, stage, shoot and produce their own mini-movie using Stop Motion Animation. Working as a team, students will use LEGO® components to build the set and props, and then shoot their movie using a camera. This camp provides instruction in the fundamentals of playing baseball with emphasis on throwing, hitting, fielding, batting, base running, field situations and teamwork. Rules and game like situations will be introduced. Age appropriate equipment and experienced instructors will make this camp fun. Register for the age the child will be the first day of camp.
