CO-ED HIGH SCHOOL SAND VOLLEYBALL LEAGUE Get your friends together and get down to the Mead Pool sand volleyball court for some volleyball action! This new league will be available to students who will be enrolled in high school for the 2013-2014 school year. AGES DAY/DATES TIME LOCATION Grades 9-12 Tuesday Evenings June 18-July 30 (no games July 2) Games will be played at 7:00, 8:00 and 9:00 p.m. Mead Pool Sand Volleyball Court GRACIE JIU JITSU The Gracie Jiu Jitsu 4-week course is a beginners program for adults and teens. It will teach you the 36 core techniques of Gracie Jiu Jitsu in a fun, safe and cooperative environment. Each one-hour lesson addresses one standing and one ground self-defense technique. Our instructors are committed to ensuring that every new student has an informative, enjoyable experience regardless of age, gender or athletic ability. No previous experience necessary, and since safety is our number one concern, there is no competitive sparring in this program. This course is designed for students who have no or very little Martial Arts experience. LOCATION: Karate America, 220 W. BASKETBALL LEAGUES: League play starts in November on Monday and Tuesday nights at Appleton area gyms on hardwood floors. SOFTBALL LEAGUES: Games are played at Appleton Memorial Park starting the last week of April. Registration information is now available and the deadline for team sign-up is March 28. Leagues are offered in Men’s, Women’s & Coed Slow Pitch, Men’s Church, Men’s Modified Pitch, Men’s Limited Arc and Coed Rec* leagues (8 week leagues). Over 2,500 people played softball with FVRA in 2012! Join the fun this next summer! There are also Men’s and Coed leagues available in the fall season. EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES!
