Phoenix 1979

Baccalaureate, planned by the senior class, was held the afternoon prior
to Commencement. The ceremony included addresses from several seniors,
including Class President Cheryl Gondolfo (top right), and Student Gov
ernment President Lavern Jackson (bottom left). The class of '79 invited
Professor Richard Howard to speak also (center left). Seniors Laurie Leim
brook and Lori Christiansen sang individually during the program, hut
also performed a duet from the play "A Woman's Place is in the Palace"
written by Ms. Leimbrook and Marilys Ernst '80 (center right).
