The tennis team finished the season with a record of 8 wins and four losses this year which Coach Jan Hollack feels is an impressive record. On Saturday, April 28, <strong>1979</strong>, the Women's Capital Collegiate Tennis Tour nament was held at Mount Vernon. Jean Benoit (no. 1), Brooke Rosenblatt (no. 2) and Margaret McBee (no. 3) represented Mount 'Ver non in the singles matches. For the doubles matches, Tina Teipel and Martha Broeker as the No. 1 team and Susie Rammel and Lauren Venuto as the No. 2 team represented the College. In an exciting match, Tina and Martha beat the St. Mary's team to win the tournament title in the dou bles consolation period. Coach Hollack is quite proud of her team's per formance this year and is looking forward to another great season. 158
