risk management specialist with a
global presence. We have in-depth
knowledge and experience of all
aspects of the logistics chain of

is a private company established
in 1920 in the Netherlands which
now has presence in more than 60
countries in the world.
Our main services in Vietnam are
quality and quantity inspections,
certification and risk management. In
Vietnam we have opened the doors
in 2002. In those days, we started
here only to facilitate one of our
international clients in the shipping
business.

The Dutch Business Association
Vietnam (DBAV) is an
independent, non-political and
non-profit organisation established
in 1999 in Ho Chi Minh City.
The DBAV promotes business,
economic, cultural, and other
interests of common concern to its
members, in particular to increase
business between Vietnam and the
Netherlands.

Now, nine years later, Control Union
is an organization that provides
service to a large number of local and
international clients.Today CUVN
employs around 50-70 people and we
handle more that 3.3 million metric
tons of Agri Cargo.
The inspection of grain and other
agricultural products remains one of
our core activities; but we have further
diversified our inspection services to
include minerals and biofuels, as well
as technical inspections in the oil and
gas upstream industry.
This year, we will open our new office
in Hai Phoung. Hai Phoung is one of
the bigger ports in northern Vietnam.
It is going to be an important link
in our service network. In south
Vietnam we are stationed in Baria
Vung Tau and HCMC.
Since 2007, we have started our
certification services in Vietnam. Last
year we have audited and certified
over 150 projects in and around
Vietnam. We have local auditors for
GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, Global
Gap, Organic (EU, USA, Korea
