The Premier Women played Dunedin
Tech at home and went 1 down early in the
game. With a strong wind behind them Tech
were able to score another 3. Half Time 0-4. We
competed better in the second half and
managed a few chances on goal. Good
performances by Kylie in goals, Dayna and Mel.
Courtney pulled one back for us but 1-6 loss
means we have work to do. Player of the Day
Courtney Dunne
The Womens Green Team started off
well playing great passing football with it being
1-0 to us at half time. Then went downhill from
there with a really young Tech side, our women
were run off their feet. Loosing 2-4. Our goals
came from a scorching shot from Amy Scoullar
and the other from the head of Linda Watt. POD
and well deserved Linda Watt. Paul Kelly
planking lazy susans at Jonos BYO and didn’t really have any idea on the field.
Lynda, POD, saved the game from being double figures and kept the girls
spirits up. Her determination and commitment lasted the duration of the game.
Well done Lynda. Keep up the positive attitude we are improving each game.
Jonnie Dunbar.
Samara Kellys’ Gremlins played Maori Hill White. The girls played pretty
awesome. Great goal by Hamish. Lost 1-6 POD Emma for having a game in
defense. Good game girls and boys.
