Jennifer Vincent<br />
Jennifer was everywhere this year. You name the<br />
GCS event and she was there. She ran 6 NEGP<br />
races (1 short of “Iron Runner”) & 4 NHGP races.<br />
She scored 30 NEGP points (3 rd on the Women’s<br />
Open Team). She ran a 1:43 at the Jones 10m, a<br />
2:51 at Applefest, a 1:16 at Bridge of Flowers, a<br />
2:10 at Pack, a 1:18 Bedford 12k, a 27:29 at<br />
Foothealth, a 46:08 at Reds 5m, a 2:14 at the New<br />
Bedford Half. If that wasn’t enough, Jen also<br />
handles the race results on club website and was<br />
one of clubs most active volunteers last year.<br />

Tom Kolb<br />
2008 was a tough year for Tom Kolb. He suffered<br />
through a serious illness which put him on the<br />
sidelines for most of the year. In 2009 Tom worked<br />
his way back and in 2010 Tom was without a<br />
doubt the face of GCS. He ran an astonishing 33<br />
races in 2010. He ran indoor track races, outdoor<br />
track races, road races, trail races, and cross<br />
country races. He ran 2 NEGP races & 7 NHGP<br />
races earning “Granite Runner” status. He ran a<br />
1:12 at Jones 10m, a 43:06 at Soup Kitchen 10k, a<br />
34:04 at Reds, a 20:49 at Foothealth, a 50:47 at<br />
Bedford 12k, a 1:28 at Pack, a 36:22 at Bill Luti, a<br />
1:42 at Mt. Washington, a 20:44 at Cigna, a 1:33 at<br />
Whit Mountains Half a 34:06 at the New England<br />
8k Cross Country Championships. He ran 3 legs at<br />
Reach the Beach for the First Place GCS Mens<br />
Seniors Team and he also scored 21 NHGP points<br />
which was 1 st amongst <strong>Gate</strong> <strong>City</strong> Senior Men.<br />
