Ken Snow
As with Karen, Ken could probably have won two
awards this year. Most Active and this one - Team
MVP. This year he ran 2 NHGP races and all 7
NEGP races earning “Iron Runner” status. He
scored a whopping 58 NEGP points which was
first amongst all Gate City Striders. He was Team
Captain on the First Place GCS Coed Seniors Team
at Mill Cities scoring 12 big points. He ran a 1:08
at Jones 10m, a 1:30 at New Bedford, a 3:21 at
Boston, a 19:52 at Rhody, a 56:33 at Stowe, a
42:44 at Bridge of Flowers 10k, a 58:39 at Bedford
12k, a 20:35 at Milford 5k (1 st in his age group), a
3:18 at Baystate, a 32:32 at the New England 8k
Cross Country Championships. And if that weren’t
enough, Ken is an avid snowshoer (with the
biggest shoes out there). Last year (and this year)
he did the Feel Good Farms 5m (a tough snowshoe
race in Lyndeborough) in 49:33 which was good
enough for 2 nd in his age group.
