The Adolescent Resource Center is a division <strong>of</strong> Alcohol and Drug Services <strong>of</strong> <strong>Gallatin</strong> <strong>County</strong>. The<br />

Adolescent Resource Center provides outpatient adolescent treatment, prevention programs and<br />

education on parenting adolescents.<br />

This shelter care/group home takes youth from 11-­‐18 years old. Services are usually contracted by<br />

youth probation or Dept <strong>of</strong> Family services. The Center accepts private pay clients and provides<br />

respite care for youth.<br />

<strong>Gallatin</strong> City <strong>County</strong> Health Department provides home visitation for support and education to high-­‐<br />

risk pregnant women and their children up to age 5 by public health nurses and a social worker. Two<br />

lactation consultants are on staff for breastfeeding support and education. It also provides routine<br />

childhood vaccinations for children ages 1-­‐18 years for a donation <strong>of</strong> $15 per vaccine given. No child<br />

is denied service for immunizations due to inability to pay. It has a full-­‐service international Travel<br />

Clinic, providing consultation, vaccination and education. Communicable disease investigation and<br />

education as well as school nursing for area rural schools are also provided.<br />

The Mission <strong>of</strong> Hearts and Homes is to provide critical support services to families who currently<br />

have children in foster, kinship, or dual custody care by providing programs and training that aim to<br />

Graduate students in the MSU Counseling Program <strong>of</strong>fer individual, couple and family counseling.<br />

Counselors are supervised by MSU faculty who are licensed mental health pr<strong>of</strong>essionals. Fees are<br />

based on a sliding scale. The clinic provides low cost mental health services for adults, adolescents,<br />

children, families and couples in the <strong>Gallatin</strong> community and beyond.<br />
