International conference for <st<strong>ro</strong>ng>geo</st<strong>ro</strong>ng>sciences students that included oral and<br />

poster scientific presentations, job fair, short courses, Challenge Bowl, two<br />

networking events, field trip.<br />

One year GWB p<strong>ro</strong>ject. Achievements: three <st<strong>ro</strong>ng>geo</st<strong>ro</strong>ng>physical field campaigns for<br />

recording of seismic, <st<strong>ro</strong>ng>geo</st<strong>ro</strong>ng>electric, GPR and magnetic with more than 40<br />

students f<strong>ro</strong>m 4 universities, workshop for data p<strong>ro</strong>cessing, <st<strong>ro</strong>ng>geo</st<strong>ro</strong>ng>chemical<br />

sampling, <st<strong>ro</strong>ng>geo</st<strong>ro</strong>ng>chemical analyses at P<strong>ro</strong>spectiuni SA Laboratories, nearsurface<br />

<st<strong>ro</strong>ng>geo</st<strong>ro</strong>ng>logical sections and pollution maps, training session with local<br />

communities.<br />

BSC of SEG organized the field trip for the SEP course held in Bucharest,<br />

Romania 2010. The trip had 4 stops: OMV Pet<strong>ro</strong>m drilling rig, Brazi Refinery,<br />

Bran Castle and Spumoasa Valley (Bucegi Mountains)<br />

Each autumn, the Bucharest <st<strong>ro</strong>ng>Student</st<strong>ro</strong>ng> <st<strong>ro</strong>ng>Chapter</st<strong>ro</strong>ng>s of SEG, AAPG and EAGE<br />

organize together a three day field trip.<br />

Every year, BSC (of SEG, AAPG and EAGE) organizes a Christmas party for<br />

its members and faculty p<strong>ro</strong>fessors.<br />

A meeting opened to all students f<strong>ro</strong>m our faculty that included 3<br />

presentations f<strong>ro</strong>m guests f<strong>ro</strong>m P<strong>ro</strong>spectiuni S.A.<br />
