The gno rledge of the effect of weapons , that i s to say the acquain tance with the effect of each individual type of bomb and fuse is a b solu tely essential and i s an important prerequisite for achieving success . Every unit comrnan der down to th e level of group commander must be thoroug hl y acquainted with every detail and he in turn must see to it that maximum effect is obtained by th e proper utilization of bombs and fuses .
