FACADES AND BALCONIES SOLUTIONS
Emac® offers a practical and aesthetic system with profi les that facilitate and assure a
correct placing of ceramic on facades, prolonging the outdoor tiling’s life thanks to its
excellent performance against thermal crashes and base movements, and decorating at
the same time. Emac® facades system includes profi les for ceramic anchoring, perimeter
fi nish off, movement joints and for balcony coverings.
Emac® recommends the use of fl exible glue cement as fi xing material, suitable to the environmental
conditions. In Facades, the placement of Expansion Joints is recommended
in areas not larger than 9 sqm maximum if size of the tile > 900 sqcm, and 12 sqm if size
of the tiles < 900 sqcm.
Among these solutions, stands out the profi le Novosepara Fix® that brings additional
security to the facades by mechanical anchoring. In the conditions refered to the building
security published in the ITE (Spanish Technical Inspection of Buildings) it is recapped in a
very strictly way the aspects: security and stability of ceramic tiled facades.
