- High performance snow removal vehicle « Jetbroom » for high speed clearing without castor wheels – automatic
broom pattern adjustment. Chassis construction based on successful Jetbroom compact series. Available as semi-
trailer or with dolly
- Steered axle with 14 ton (30’800 lbs.) gross axle weight rating
- Broom length 4’200 mm (14’) with 3’800 mm (12’) clearing path or 6.0 m (20’) with 5’440 mm (18’) clearing path
(Optional trailer extension to stow (inline) the broom for transportation and storage)
- Hydrostatic broom drive up to 900 rpm
- Working engine Mercedes OM 501 6-cylinder with 428 hp @ 1’800 rpm, torque max. 2000 Nm @ 1’300 rpm;
TIR 3 / Euromot 3A standard
- 600 l (160 gallon) diesel tanks (one on each side) for the working engine for 12 – 14 hours of operation
- The complete operation, controlling and supervision can be carried out using the Boschung Vpad and joystick(s)
located inside the cab of the tow truck. All settings and adjustments can be programmed. Options for GPS and
data collection
- High performance air turbine horizontal mounted on the trailer with air throughput of 720 m 3 /min (25’423 cfm) for
air blower in front of the broom with 3 nozzles; Optional second air blower based on same turbine with air stream
between broom and back axle or at vehicle rear side
- Optional platform on vehicle rear side for additional working equipment (de-icers for solid and/or liquid thawing agents)
