School Priority 3 - Quality Teaching
Outcome for 2012 – 2014
To improve student performance by increasing
teacher confidence, knowledge and skills
in providing teaching and learning experiences
that include all elements of the Quality Teaching
Framework.
2012 Targets to achieve this outcome include:
• embed the Quality Teaching Framework in all learning
and teaching practices and
• develop students to become better self-regulated learners
by providing differentiated curriculum provisions and
options for all students.
Strategies to achieve these targets include:
• foster and implement Quality Teaching elements in all
classrooms;
• share effective teaching strategies to differentiate in staff
and stage meetings and
• modify the curriculum, teaching structures, and teaching
practices in combination to ensure that instruction is relevant,
flexible and responsive to individual student needs
with particular focus on Literacy and Numeracy outcomes.
ABOUT THIS REPORT
In preparing this report information has been gathered
from evaluations conducted during the year, in addition to
the analysis of other information relating to school practice
and student learning outcomes.
The report encompasses the work of a number of school/
parent sub committees.
