About Chrijliana's neck the Shepherds put a' bracelet~<br />
a,nd fo they did about the necks of her four daughters;<br />
alfo they put ear-rings in their ears, and jewels on their<br />
foreheads.<br />
When they Were minded to go hence, tp~y let them<br />
go in peace, but gave not to them tqofe certain cautions<br />
which before were given to Chrijlian and his companion•.<br />
<strong>The</strong> reafon was, for that there had Great-heart to be their<br />
guide, who was one that was well acquainted with things~<br />
and fo could give them their cautions more feafonably ; to I<br />
wit, even then when the danger was nigh the approaching.<br />
What cautions Chrijlian and his companion had received<br />
of the Shepherds, they had alfo Joll: by that the<br />

When they were gone from the Shepherds, they<br />
quickly came to the place where Chrijlian met with on.e<br />
