4.6 Green. Beginning or resumption of a Session/Race and/or
cancellation of a previous flag.
4.7 Red. Only used during a Race.
a. All Sessions/Race. Shown at pit exit to signal that the pit
lane exit is closed.
b. Race Only. Shown at the Start Line with double yellow
flags at the remaining flag stations. The Race has been
stopped. Proceed immediately to pit lane (not Pit Stall) in
Single File and follow the instructions of the Officials. Be
prepared to stop on-track only if so directed. Work or
service must not be performed on the Car until the Race
is restarted, except as directed by Race Control.
4.8 Yellow. Indicates an incident, use caution, no passing, slow
down, be prepared to stop.
a. Motionless. The incident is in the area of the flag station,
proceed past incident in Single File.
b. Waived. The incident is in the area by the flag station,
proceed past incident in Single File, the track may be
partly or wholly blocked and safety personnel and/or
equipment may be on-track.
c. Double Steady. The track is considered yellow at all
points simultaneously; the Safety Car is entering the track
(“Full Course Yellow”).
4.9 Yellow with Red Stripes. The racing surface may be
affected by fluids or debris.
4.10 White.
a. Motionless. There is a slow moving Car or safety vehicle
on-track ahead, possibly in the racing line.
b. Waived at Start Line The start of the final lap of the
Race.
SECTION 5 - PADDOCK, PITS & ROAD
5.1 Paddock. The layout and rules of the Paddock are at the
sole discretion of GRAND-AM and no other entity may give
contrary direction. Teams must park in designated areas or
may be towed at operator’s expense. Support Trailers and/or
motor homes (DP Constructors are exempt) are prohibited in
the Paddock.
5.1.1 Space Allocation. GRAND-AM allocates garages
and paddock space at its sole discretion. The
