25. Bills shall be submitted by the contractor monthly on or before the date fixed by the Executive<br />

Engineer, for all works executed in the previous months.<br />

26. Should this tender be accepted I /We hereby agree to abide by and fulfill all the terms and<br />

provisions of the “<strong>Tender</strong> & contract for works”as applicable, and in default thereof to forfeit<br />

and pay to the GETCO the sums of money due.<br />

27. The contractor shall keep instruction book on site, for taking site instruction from time to time.<br />

This book shall be make available on site whenever asked for.<br />

28. The contractor shall pay wage to the workers, as per minimum wages act as declared by the<br />

Government time to time.<br />

29. The contractor shall follow all labour laws of Govt.<br />

30. Contractor shall arrange for testing of material to be used in the work or finished product, if<br />

desired by the Executive Engineer. The provision shall be made in the unit rate quoted for<br />

this.<br />

31. The full value of the “Earnest Money Deposit” paid herewith, shall be forfeited to the GETCO,<br />

if the contractor fails to deposit the full amount of specified security deposit, within stipulated<br />

time.<br />

32. CEMENT CONSUMPTION SCHEDULE<br />

The proportion of cement with coarse aggregate and the fine aggregate for cement concrete<br />

works & with sand in case of cement mortar will be in accordance with the under mentioned<br />

schedule showing the consumption of cement in bags. The Engineer-in-charge will adjust the<br />

proportion of cement irrespective of the mix mentioned in the description of the items, to ensure<br />

the consumption of the cement as per prescribed schedule. The tendered rate will be considered<br />

to have been based on the consumption of cement in this schedule and nothing extra will be paid<br />

on this account.<br />

(a) If the quantity of cement shown as utilized in the work, is observed to be less than<br />

permitted as below then work will be accepted at reduce rate at the discretion of EIC, if<br />

deemed fit.<br />
