<strong>Gumala</strong> <strong>Aboriginal</strong> <strong>Corporation</strong><br />
Please note: Once funds have been spent any further assistance should<br />
be applied for under the Health and Wellbeing <strong>program</strong>.<br />
Emergency funds will NOT be approved, except under<br />
exceptional, emergency or life threatening circumstances<br />
and only at the discretion of the CEO, or his delegate, (a<br />
detailed letter and documentation must be received prior to the<br />
application being considered).<br />
Members booking goods and <strong>services</strong> should comply with<br />
D.1, D.2 and D.3 (as per the addendum of the GAC MSU<br />
Guidelines).<br />
6.1.2. Amount of Program<br />
The <strong>program</strong> will not exceed $2,000 (inc. GST) per child.<br />
The <strong>program</strong> will run from 01.07.11 to 30.06.12 and left over funds from<br />
2010/11 will NOT be carried over (subject to funding being provided to GAC by<br />
the Trustee).<br />
6.1.3. Eligibility<br />
<strong>Gumala</strong> Members children are eligible for this <strong>program</strong> if:<br />
6.1.3.1 The child is a blood relation to a <strong>Gumala</strong> Member in accordance<br />
with A.4 and B.2 (as per the addendum of the GAC MSU Guidelines)<br />
6.1.3.2 They have provided a birth certificate<br />
6.1.3.3 They are enrolled in a Primary School<br />
Please note: A birth certificate will be required, unless already provided,<br />
however education assistance may be approved once an<br />
application for a birth certificate has been processed by the<br />
EU or at GAC Discretion, EU can assist with this.<br />
6.1.4 Applying for a Program<br />
Applicants for the Primary Education <strong>program</strong> should:<br />
6.1.4.1 Forward bills and/or quotes/invoices with the child’s name on it<br />
for payment (e.g. BPay information is required to make payment online.<br />
May not be required in the case of food and fuel or at GAC Discretion)<br />
6.1.4.2 Have their parent/carer complete/supply the following<br />
documentation:<br />
• A signed registration form for each child they are<br />
registering (Form 6.1)<br />
