<strong>Gumala</strong> <strong>Aboriginal</strong> <strong>Corporation</strong><br />
Children over the age of 2, requiring a seat, may be counted<br />
into the 3 people covered under this <strong>program</strong> (at GAC discretion).<br />
Applications should be at a reasonable cost (e.g. fuel approved<br />
will reflect the distance to be travelled, etc, and costs are to benefit the<br />
Member and <strong>Gumala</strong> Beneficiaries only).<br />
Accommodation<br />
7.1.4 Accommodation will only be supplied to the 3 immediate Members,<br />
kinship family, and/or their children (at GAC discretion)<br />
7.1.5 Accommodation will only be paid for the period required to assist<br />
the ill patient<br />
Food<br />
7.1.6 Meals will only be supplied to the 3 immediate Members, kinship<br />
family, and/or their children (at GAC discretion)<br />
7.1.7 Meals will only be paid for the period required to assist the critically<br />
ill patient<br />
Please note: Should the Member wish to stay longer items such<br />
as food, accommodation and changes to travel will<br />
be at the Members cost or at GAC discretion.<br />
Items not available for purchase under this <strong>program</strong> are:<br />
7.1.8 Bills e.g. power, water, phone<br />
7.1.9 Vehicle expenses<br />
Please note: Once funds have been spent any further assistance should be<br />
applied for under the Health and Wellbeing <strong>program</strong>.<br />
Emergency funds will NOT be approved, except under<br />
exceptional, emergency or life threatening circumstances and<br />
only at the discretion of the CEO, or his delegate, (a detailed<br />
letter and documentation must be received prior to the application being<br />
considered).<br />
Members booking goods and <strong>services</strong> should comply with D.1,<br />
D.2 and D.3 (as per the addendum of the GAC MSU Guidelines).<br />
7.2 Amount of Program<br />
The <strong>program</strong> will not exceed $10,000 (inc. GST) per financial year, per<br />
approved critically ill Member.<br />
