The morning C.P.R. train from Windsor Station, arrives at Tremblant, 96 long slow miles, at one o'clock, sometimes, and a smart bus runs us over to the lodge, three miles away, in a few minutes. Mr. Joseph Ryan has built in the forest, at the base of rugged old Mont Tremblant, a charming little French Canadian village; church, hotels, shops, 40 odd picturesque cabins of all combinations, cafeteria, restaurants, bars-everything has been provided for your comfort, and over three hundred guests can be accommodated. The young people have their own quarters, at a lower price, and in the season it is a fascinating place to visit, for you meet ski enthusiasts· from all over, a most interesting lot of people, old as well as young, and you s'ee some wonderful skiing. The feature of Tremblant is the trail running and racing, and two modern ski lifts take you· up to the tip of the mountain, 2200 feet, where the famous Kandahar racing trail starts, and no matter what the conditions may be down in the valley, there is usually fine running on the upper mountain. The Tremblan~ trail system provides for every grade of skill, and even the novice will find great wide trails that can be taken safely. A modern ski school, with many instructors and guides, and a well-appointed ski shop, nothing being overlooked, it is a wonderful place today, and will be further developed in the future. In the summer season there is riding, tennis, golf, a splendid pool, sailing on the lovely lake, and some of the best trout fish-
