Motion : That a committee of three be appointed by the<br />
Moderator to serve without pay to investigate in behalf<br />
of the town, the conditions of our public service corporations,<br />
the water, electric and gas corporations, the contracts<br />
with them and their rates compared with other<br />
towns ; also the possibilities of a betterment to the town<br />
and citizens in service from any source and in any way,<br />
and report to a Town Meeting with such recommendations<br />
as may seem advisable.<br />

Committee appointed was: Edward S. Batcheider,<br />
James W. Tucker, Mrs. Margaret Wingate,<br />
Motion: That a vote of thanks be given to<br />
Board for work done.<br />
