TOWN WARRANT FOR 1941<br />

TOWN OF HAMPTON<br />

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE<br />

To the inhabitants of the Town of Hampton, in the<br />

County of Rockingham, in said State, qualified to vote in<br />

town affairs<br />

You are hereby notified to meet at the Town Hall in<br />

said Hampton on Tuesday the 11th day of March, at Ten<br />

o'clock in the forenoon to act upon the following subjects<br />

Article 1.<br />

To choose by Australian Ballot one Town<br />

Clerk, one Selectman for three years, one Treasurer, one<br />

Collector of Taxes, and three Auditors.<br />

Article 2. To choose all other necessary officers for<br />

the ensuing year.<br />

Article 3. To raise such sums of money as may be<br />

necessary for Town Officers' salaries and expenses, election<br />

and registration, municipal court, care and supplies<br />

for Town Hall, police department, fire department, moth<br />

department, highways and bridges, street lighting, library,<br />

town poor, <strong>Memorial</strong> Day, parks and playgrounds,<br />

cemetery, sewer department, sidewalks, comfort station,<br />

breakwater, town notes, Hampton Beach, and all other<br />

necessary charges arising within the town.<br />

Article 4. To see if the town will give the Selectmen<br />

power to borrow money in anticipation of taxes.<br />
