PORT OF PRIMORSK<br />

9.1 GENERAL<br />

For emergency assistance in the case of an incident or accident on board contact<br />

VTS Primorsk via VHF 68. Report name of ship, berth and nature of calamity.<br />

Maintain a listening watch VHF 16, 68.<br />

9.2 EMERGENCY CONTACTS<br />

9.3 EMERGENCY RESPONSE EQUIPMENT<br />

Booming of tankers during loading operations is compulsory.<br />

Marine terminals are adequately supplied with enough number of tools for emergency<br />

response , including for cleaning water surface.<br />

9.4 EMERGENCY COORDINATION CENTRE<br />

There are the professional divisions for oil spill emergency liquidation in the port, capable to<br />

localize and eliminate any possible oil spill. Emergency communication through the VTS<br />

Primorsk, ch.68.<br />

9.5 EMERGENCY SCENARIOS<br />

Each terminal has special plan for liquidation of oil spill.<br />
