MTWARA gas-to-power PLANNING, TANZANIA When complete, this system will comprise an offshore natural gas well, onshore gas field facility, natural gas pipeline system, reciprocating gas engine power plant, and 132-kV and 33-kV transmission and distribution lines. Our services include development of a long-term load forecast and estimation of long-run marginal costs; inspection of the existing transmission and distribution systems; preparation of associated investment plans; and an environmental impact assessment according to Tanzanian and World Bank policies and guidelines. < Our comprehensive plan for the Mtwara region covered everything from load forecasts to environmental impact assessments Wind Power Integration, Nova Scotia, Canada For the Government of Nova Scotia’s Department of Energy, Hatch examined the major impacts on the province’s electrical system of integrating large amounts of additional wind generation. The study examined the system’s reliability, the overall system costs, and greenhouse gas and other air emissions reductions. Hatch used our Vista DSS software to carry out detailed operation simulations of the provincial electric system. The Nova Scotia electric power system's operations are simulated with Vista DSS Energy Performance Improvement Hatch conducted energy assessments at four northern mining sites for Cameco Corporation in Saskatchewan, Canada. The process included a review of energymanagement practices with the site leadership teams and corporate management. With the assessments in hand, the Hatch team developed a series of Energy Management Action Plans, which each site then incorporated into their site planning for the next year.
