Guttiferae DD A tree that occurs in primary well-drained forest<br />

between 60 and 420m. It is known from a few<br />

scattered localities in an area that is poorly known.<br />

Loganiaceae DD A poorly understood species, collected twice from<br />

forest between 200 and 860m on Mt. Carstensz and<br />

Mt. Tamrau, Mimika District.<br />

Myristicaceae DD A small tree or shrub, which is restricted to mixed<br />

lowland rainforest in Morobe Province. It has been<br />

collected only six times.<br />

Myristicaceae DD This tree is known from six or seven collections from<br />

primary and secondary forest areas in Vogelkop in<br />

Irian Jaya and West Sepik in Papua New Guinea.<br />

Myristicaceae DD This tree is locally endemic to <strong>the</strong> Buso River area <strong>of</strong><br />

<strong>the</strong> Morobe Province. It has been collected six times in<br />

coastal swamp forest, river flat forest and lowland<br />

secondary forest.<br />

Podocarpaceae DD The species grows in some abundance in confined<br />

patches <strong>of</strong> cloud forest or mossy heath forest above<br />

1430m. Collections are few, largely because <strong>the</strong> area<br />

is poorly explored.<br />

Podocarpaceae DD The species occurs in <strong>the</strong> Gajo Lands in nor<strong>the</strong>rn<br />

Sumatra and <strong>the</strong> Wissel Lakes in Papua New Guinea.<br />

Podocarpaceae DD The species is known from occurrences on Mt. Ophir in<br />

Peninsular Malaysia, Morotai in <strong>the</strong> north Moluccas,<br />

Rossel Island in <strong>the</strong> Louisiade Archipelago <strong>of</strong> Papua<br />

New Guinea, and <strong>the</strong> Solomon Islands.<br />
