distributing the water at his own cost. He has to make necessary arrangements,
to avoid any accidents or damage caused due to construction and subsequent
maintenance of the well. He has to obtain necessary approvals from the local
authorities, if required, at his own cost. He shall restore the ground to its original
condition after wells are dismantled on completion of the work or hand over the
well to the UBI without any compensation as directed by the
Architect/Consultant.
39.0 Power Supply:
The Bank shall provide Electricity at one fixed point free of cost but subject to
availability. If Bank is not able to provide Electricity for what so ever the reason/s,
the contractor shall make his own arrangement for power and supply/ distribution
system for driving plant or machinery for the work and for lighting purpose at his
own cost. The cost of running and maintenance of the plants are to included in
his tender prices. He shall pay all fees and charges required for the power supply
and include the same in his tendered rates and hold the owner free from all such
costs. He has to obtain necessary approvals from the appropriate authorities, if
required.
40.0 Treasure trove etc. :
Any treasure trove, coin or object antique which may be found on the site shall
be the property of the UBI and shall be handed over to the bank immediately.
41.0 Method of measurements:
Unless otherwise mentioned in the schedule of quantities or in mode of
measurement or elsewhere in these documents the measurement will be on the
net quantities or work produced in accordance with up to date as per rules laid
down by the Bureau of Indian Standards. In the event any dispute/disagreement
the decision of the Architect/Consultant shall be final and binding on the
contractor.
42.0 Maintenance of registers:
The contractor shall maintain the registers as directed/instructed by the
Bank/Architects as per the approved Performa at site of work and should
produce the same for inspection of the UBI/ the Architect/Consultant whenever
desired by them. The contractor shall also maintain the records/ registers as
required by the local authorities/ Govt. from time to time.
43.0 Force Majeure:
43.1 Neither contractor nor UBI shall be considered in default in performance of their
obligations if such performance is prevented or delayed by events such as but not
to war, hostilities revolution, riots, civil commotion, strikes, lockout, conflagrations,
epidemics, accidents, fire, storm, floods, droughts, earthquakes or ordinances or
any act of god or for any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the party
affected or prevented or delayed. However a notice is required to be given within
Tender Document UBI Deva branch
