Important Health Information
If in doubt throw it out: Throw out all food, even if you’re unsure if it has been contaminated.
Follow local directives on water: Drink only bottled or boiled water
Don’t overlook minor cuts and abrasions: These can lead to serious infection
Seek immediate medical attention if cold or flu like symptoms present 48 hrs to 14 days after
exposure to flood waters
Take appropriate insect precautions: mosquito borne illness will be on the rise in these conditions
Maintain adequate supplies of pharmaceuticals
Moulds grow in carpets and walls within 48hrs: be particularly careful if you have asthma or allergies
