& Glasgow, Badger Catalytic, Raytheon Engineers and<br />
Constructors and Skanska USA Building.<br />
<strong>Wael</strong>, who is fluent in Arabic, has extensive experience in<br />
running global businesses through his work in Saudi Arabia,<br />
Japan, Germany, the UK and USA. <strong>Wael</strong> is a Chartered Engineer<br />
and Scientist with 20 years experience in the industry.<br />
He specialises in project delivery, project and programme<br />
management, risk management, quality and documentation.<br />
<strong>Wael</strong> holds an M.S.c in Biochemical Engineering and B.Eng<br />
in Chemical Engineering, graduating with Honours from<br />
the University of Swansea in the UK. He has also received<br />
Executive education and development programs from<br />
Harvard and the Wharton School. In 2008, he was inducted<br />
into Cambridge Who’s Who Executive, Professional &<br />
Entrepreneurial Registry.<br />

2009 – Date <strong>Hyder</strong> <strong>Consulting</strong> Middle East Limited – Regional Managing Director<br />
Responsible for positioning <strong>Hyder</strong> <strong>Consulting</strong> to be the leading International<br />
Advisory and design <strong>Consulting</strong> Services in the Middle East. Working through<br />
3 main market sectors: Property, Transportation & Infrastructure and Water &<br />
Environment providing Consultancy and Project delivery from Dubai, Abu Dhabi,<br />
Al Ain, Qatar and Bahrain.<br />
Involved in development of Regional Strategy and key Client accounts.<br />
2003 – 2009 Skanska USA Building Inc., Parsipanny NJ – Executive Vice President<br />
Responsible for positioning Skanska to be the leading construction manager and<br />
design builder for the Science & Technology sector. Working with the local offices<br />
(Execution Centres) developing a business strategy locally and nationally to win<br />
and execute fife and sciences, sustainable energy, and technical services projects.<br />
This encompassed development of marketing strategy, local and national project<br />
pursuit strategy, account management, technical support (methodology and<br />
project execution), client liaison and follow up. The centre of excellence oversees<br />
projects totalling US$500 Million.<br />
Also responsible as President & CEO / Skanska Pharmaceutical Group, Blue Bell,<br />
PA: Responsible for overseeing all commissioning & qualification projects and<br />
Business Development globally; developing a unique methodology encompassing<br />
Quality, Risk Management and reduced Time-to Market; and the development and<br />
implementation of a global quality program including “Good Practice Training &<br />
Certification”.<br />
1992 – 1999 Raytheon Engineers & Constructors – Director<br />
While with the company he established the Validation group in UK, expanding<br />
rapidly to employ over 60 Engineers/Specialist in 18 months. Diversification<br />
to include consultancy tripled operating profits, while geographical expansion<br />
further enhance profitability. He spent time in Japan setting up a joint venture,<br />
moving to Europe to establish local offices in Germany & Switzerland as well as<br />
executing projects in China and the Middle-East.<br />
1989 – 1992 H & G Engineering – Bio Process Engineer<br />
Involved in multiple projects for the food, biotech, pharmaceutical, chemical and<br />
oil & gas industries.<br />
