President Carter is in o ffice now and ,
I-..now he ..... m turn things around for us and
the thousands o( unemployed. I-l is actions
in the coming month ~ will be watched
closely by labor and \Ie can only wait and
~ee. We ~upported him and I hope now
President Carter will suppor! us and help
gel us bac!. to work.
The President can only do SO much and
a lot is up to liS to help. !lave you noticed
how much "ork is being done by the " rats"
in our area. If we had 10 percent of the
",orl-.. done hy non-union contractou in our
area. there \lould be full employment and
v.e could put a lot of tr:l\eling Brothen
to "orl-.. also. We need to report all v.-ork
"e see to the local union and also a~!. the
COntractor ~OIZ arc worl-..ing for whH\ he is
doing to ~top the non-union movelllen1. If
we work together. mayhi! somet hing can be
done to comb:lt the "rillS." This is a problem
th;'11 cannOt be solved overnight, but some-­
thing has to be done or in the near future
