probable cause charge thaI the New Eng·
land Telephone Company and the union
.... ere in violation of the Civil Rights Act
of 1964 as amended. We .... ould like to put
this one to rest. but nothing is done simply
in this Company, we have fou nd through the
yeltrs. and where this also involves the fed·
eral bureaucracy, it becomes pretty complicated.

EEOC on the me;ming and intent of a con·
ciliation agreement EEOC has come up
with. and it appears that the Telephone
Company is qucstioning the \ame.

gaining between AT&T and the 1II EW.
