I believe we've something special,
J ust together, you and I.
There is naught it can compare with
Here beneath God's clear blue sky.
In the twilight hours you whisper
Words of love so lenderly.

I look al him so still and cold .
My mind went back to days of old.
Two foolish kids, depression days;
No money, just in love and gay.
The fights, Ihe fun, the anxious
times.
The dark nights spent on "downed"
lines,
The trips and rides, our friends
and kin,
The three boys with their happy

May I be wiser, Lord, I pray.

Nobody ever added up
T he value of a smile.
We know how much a dollar's
worth.
And how long a mile.
We know the distance to the sun.
The size and weight of earth,
But no one here tells us just
Ho w much a smile's worth.
Nobody knows the value of
A kind and helpful word.
The names of all the stars are
known,
And some of them we've hell rd.
We know thc dislllnce to the moon,
To Mars and Saturn, toO,
But no o ne reaUy knows how much
A cheery word will do.
The smile you wore a year ago.
May here be working yet.
It may be doing someone good
Whom you have never met.
