SNEAK PEEK……<br />
Preparing a Deer<br />
The Native Language & Culture staff is planning to possibly have a presentation that<br />
involves the skinning if a deer. Ultimately the hide will be hopefully “brain tanned”<br />
here at ICS at a later date to share this traditional process as well.<br />

Fingerweaving & Basket Making Presentations<br />
The Native Language & Culture staff is planning to possibly have a presentation that<br />
showcases fingerweaving and basket making, presented by two Wisconsin tribal<br />
members.<br />
More information will be coming.<br />
All ICS staff and parents are invited as well.<br />
Presentations will take place in the DRUM, and the Native Language classrooms.<br />

2 pm Mini Pow-Wow<br />
Also planned for the day is a mini pow-wow, which is a monthly dance and drum<br />
teaching/exhibition/experience for the entire school in the Gym at 2 pm until 3 pm.
