bust left, wearing medals, rev date, 18-19 October,<br />

The date implies the medal was for the Balkan Wars, the Treaty<br />
of Lausanne was signed on 18 October and the Balkan League<br />
invaded Western Turkey on the 19 October. Prince Nicholas<br />
helped to organise the 1896 Olympic Games in Athens and<br />
served as president of the Sub-Committee for Shooting.<br />
